Wellfleet is ISO’s designated benefits and claims department. Their aim is to ensure that your plan provides coverage to its maximum benefits. Wellfleet offers 24/7 online claim status and multilingual representatives dedicated to the special needs of international students.
If you are a student and you've fallen ill or injured, please seek help at your school's Student Health Center first. In case a Student Health Center is not available or you are no longer a student, please proceed to a doctor office or clinic or urgent care center. In severe cases go to a nearby hospital. To avoid high out-of-pocket expenses, only visit the Emergency Room for life threatening events or medical cases that are emergency in nature. You may find doctors, clinics and hospitals in your area at: First Health or Multiplan.
Present your Insurance ID card (available in your confirmation email and online account) to your doctor or hospital receptionist. Ensure that the doctor, clinic or hospital will file a claim form on your behalf.
If your medical provider does not file a claim, you should submit the claim form along with all itemized bills, statements and receipts to our claims department, Wellfleet. The itemized bill must have the name of the facility, the date of services, diagnosis code, procedure code, provider tax ID and total charge of the services.
Claim form should be sent within 90 days of your medical event and processing time is between 10-20 business days. Once processed you will be able to check the status (EOB) online. The insurance company may investigate and verify that eligibility requirements have been met for claims processing purposes.
